How to join the LGC Chat Room

Read First:

We have our own mIRC Chat Room on the Cyanide-X server at #lordgaldorsclan. Below are instructions for joining our Chat Room if you are not familiar with mIRC.

If you would rather not install any software, follow the Simple Method. It is recommended that you install mIRC, however. To do so, follow the Recommended Method.

Simple Method:

The easiest way to join our Chat Room is to click "Chat" from Kings of Chaos. You will automatically join the Kings of Chaos channel. You can give yourself a nickname by typing /nick your_nickname in the chat bar and pressing enter. To join the LGC Chat Room, type /j #lordgaldorsclan and hit enter.

Recommended Method:

If you already have mIRC, click this link irc://godzilla.cyanide-x.net/lordgaldorsclan and it will automatically send you to our channel. If you haven't got mIRC, you can download it here for free and follow the instructions below for configuring the chat client. Note: mIRC will show a trial period, but it continues to work beyond the 30 days.

1. Run mIRC when it is installed on your PC
2. Access the mIRC Options by pressing 'Alt+E' when in mIRC

3. Go to the Connect category (Red arrow)
4. Fill in field 1,2,3 and 4:

Field number 1: Fill in your full name (Optional)
Field number 2: Fill in your e-mail address (Optional)
Field number 3: Fill in your nickname (You can use your KoC or LGC username here!)
Field number 4: Fill in an alternative nickname (In case mIRC quits with an error)

5. Go to the Servers category (Red arrow)

6. Click the Add (Red circle) button to get this window:

7. Fill in field 1 and 2:

Field number 5: Type Cyanide
Field number 6: Type godzilla.cyanide-x.net
Leave Port(s): 6667

8. Now accept by clicking Add
9. Click the little lightning button in the upper left corner (Red circle)

10. When connected, a new window will pop-up, fill in field number 7:

Field number 7: Type #lordgaldorsclan and join the channel.
Should the window not pop-up, just type /join #lordgaldorsclan and press enter when in mIRC.

You have now established connection to the Cyanide-x server and joined our Chat Room!
